Character Outline[]
A Roman soldier under the command of Legatus Claudius Glaber. He is fiercely loyal to his commander and considered among Glaber's more elite soldiers.
Blood and Sand[]
He is one of Glaber's soldiers who accompany him to Batiatus' Ludus. He and Linus fight Spartacus in the villa after Iovis failed to best him but they are easily defeated too.
During the Massacre at the House of Batiatus, Vesper can later be seen as Ilithyia orders him and two others guards to seal the doors to the ludus, although he was concerned about the guests he followed the command of his commander's wife. Vesper and his fellows proceeded to flee the ludus after locking everyone else inside to be killed.
Vengeance[]
Vesper is always at the service of Glaber, though he was not seen on-screen during the majority of the season.
He is seen when Glaber gives orders to some of his men to escort Illithyia to Rome. Vesper is seen a last time when the wagon is attacked by Gannicus. He fights briefly Gannicus, being the first roman killed by the former gladiator. Gannicus kills the others soldiers and kidnaps Illithyia.
