This unnamed hunter is a Roman citizen who lives near Vesuvius, hunting in the forests around it. He finds Gannicus with Ilithyia, and discovers that the wealthy Roman woman has been kidnapped by the gladiator. Before he can do anything, however, Gannicus kills him and his entire group.
