Fabiana is a Roman noblewoman of Capua and wife of Mercato. She has no dialogue and her name is never mentioned on screen.
Appearance[]
She is seen wearing elegant dresses with decorative gold jewelry similar to many of the other upper class Roman women seen throughout the series. However, in contrast to them, she has dark natural hair, where most other Roman noblewomen are seen with fair-haired wigs.
Blood and Sand[]
Fabiana accompanies her husband Mercato to the reception for the Vulcanalia at the House of Batiatus. She is seen alongside Ilithyia, Lucretia, and several other Romans when Varro is forced to have intercourse with Aria for the guests' entertainment. She appears to enjoy the spectacle, but does not speak. She attends both the Vulcanalia and the games Mercato arranges for his grandfather Marcus Minucius Rufus, where she can be seen seated to the right of him in the pulvinus.
Vengeance[]
Fabiana is seen once again accompanying her husband Mercato during a gladiatorial games attended by Magistrate Gallienus, Seppia, and her brother Seppius in the first episode of the series. She is not seen with her husband Mercato throughout the rest of the season and is not with him when he is killed during Spartacus’ raid on the Capua Arena.
