Phirox is a former slave who was killed in the Battle against Cossinius.

Phirox was average height and had cropped dark hair.

Phirox was a slave freed from the Mines, like thousands of other escaped slaves. He quickly befriended Yannock, a former Gladiator, who taught him to fight. He was killed during the Battle against Cossinius, after putting up his courage in the battle. After having his right arm chopped off and losing his sword, he was stabbed in the chest.
His body was later retrieved from the battlefield and buried. After Spartacus' Gladiator Games, Phirox was honored by Agithnia.
