Aria is an unnamed slave from The House of Batiatus, who is usually seen accompanying Lucretia. She is most likely Batiatus’ sex slave (Concubina), as she is almost always seen being forced to engage in various sexual activities with him. Otherwise she is seen having intercourse with other slaves or guests as entertainment.
Appearance[]
She is short, dark haired and has Middle Eastern features (indicating her Judean heritage). Aria is typically seen topless dressed in only a minimal skirt covering which was the common outfit worn by Batiatus’ female house slaves. She also wore a slave collar with a large metal tag attached indicating her lower status as a slave.
Blood and Sand[]
Aria is seen in most of the Blood and Sand episodes. At one of Batiatus' parties, she is seen having intercourse with Varro, who is then asked to perform again for Ilithyia's entertainment. She is seen as Batiatus' sex slave, both in the second episode and in Whore, engaging in forced sexual intercourse with her master. She later joins the rebellion in the final episode.

Trivia[]
- The name Aria has Judean origins, based on the Hebrew feminim name, which means "lioness". Or it could come from the greek Ariadne which means 'pure' . Or it could also derive from the Sanskrit "Arya" , which means "noble, pure".
- The Latin term for a female slave used for sex is a Concubina, the origin of 'concubine'. Note that a Concubina could just as well be a freewoman as well as a slave. The masculine equivalent is a Concubinus.
