<p>Cynthia will be taking on the role of Emily West in the History Channel's mini-series Texas Rising debuting May 25th on the History Channel. I'm looking forward to seeing her portrayal of Emily AKA The Yellow Rose of Texas. I think that it is important for Emily West to get the recognition she deserves for her role in gaining Texas' independence from Mexico. I hope that Cynthia helps that happen.  </p>
