The crosses and the remains of the victims could be seen on the Appian Way for many years after, but since it's been more than 2000 years since then, idk if the crosses would remain standing to this day. There are probably some really interesting archaeological remains to be found, though. And there are a lot of ruins of buildings from that time period that are still standing, and can be toured.
